It’s the end of an era on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
But potentially the start of an ugly legal battle.
On Tuesday, multiple sources confirmed that Kenya Moore will be leaving the aforementioned franchise after 11 seasons as a member of the main cast.
But the reason why it gets a little complicated…

Why Kenya Moore Was Fired From ‘RHOA’
Moore was suspended from season 16 earlier this year after she allegedly revealed explicit posters of newcomer Brittany Eady apparently performing oral sex.
According to TMZ, who told the story of Moore’s seemingly forced Leaving the series, the drama began when Eady allegedly threatened the veteran star while filming the upcoming season… even with a gun at one point.
No gun was found on the set, however, and no evidence was produced that proved Eady referenced the use of one.
After an argument with Eady, however, Kenya displayed pornographic posters of her co-star at the grand opening of her hair spa, violating Bravo’s code of conduct.
Hence the aforementioned suspension.

Kenya’s side of the story
There is now some discrepancy over whose decision it was for Moore to step away from the show.
“Kenya will not return to RHOA this season. She decided it was best to leave after how she felt the incident was handled and how she was treated,” a source told Entertainment Tonight, for example.
HOWEVER, TMZ claims that Moore is considering legal action against the network due to the way it all went down.
She believes her safety was threatened by Eady and doesn’t believe she is the cast member who deserves to be punished.

Meanwhile, Moore vaguely hinted at his decision to exit the series in a tweet this week, writing:
“You are the best fans anyone could ask for. and I love you all so much. Always and forever.”
The former Miss USA added “#TeamTwirlForever,” referring to her fan base.

Is Bravo a sinking ship?
This latest controversy comes amid a series of other controversial for Bravo.
At the beginning of this year, Leah McSweeney sued the cable network for allegedly using her with drugs and alcohol.
In February, Brandi Glanville Accused Andy Cohen of Sexual Harassment.
After news of his suspension broke not too long ago, Moore took to Instagram Live and said:
“I will never understand the way people go out of their way to belittle your name or ruin your business.
“Leave me alone. I’m a single mother. I’m here like everyone else. I’m not getting child support, I’m not getting anything. I’m taking care of my daughter alone.”
