The OnlyFans model’s murder trial Courtney Clenney will not include key evidence prosecutors obtained from his mother’s iCloud… after a Miami-Dade judge ruled in favor of his defense team.
Judge Laura Cruz announced its decision on Wednesday, finding that prosecutors violated attorney-client privilege when they accessed messages between Courtney’s parents and their attorneys who were in Deborah ClementeiCloud account.
Remember, Courtney was arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder about her boyfriend’s fatal stabbing Christian Obumseli in April 2022. His parents – Kim and Deborah Clenney – were later arrested and charged with allegedly accessing Obumseli’s computer.

According to prosecutors, the family’s messages with lawyers involved trying to guess the password for Obumseli’s laptop.

However, these conversations will not be used in Courtney’s murder trial… as Judge Cruz ruled that they were protected by attorney-client privilege.
The Clenney family’s attorney saw the ruling as a victory for the defense, noting in a statement… “It’s a fundamental principle of privacy that the state should never have violated. They entered the defense’s camp. All of this tarnishes the prosecution.” They targeted our clients Kim and Deborah for no reason.”
Prosecutors have not said whether they will continue to pursue charges against Courtney’s parents.
