On Tuesday, June 25th, registration for the “Thessaly and Evros Pass 2024” total budget of 4.45 million euros.
Program objective is to support tourism in the areas of Thessaly that were hit by Daniel and Evros that were affected by last summer’s fires. The intangible digital debit cards will cover the costs of accommodation, meals and local transport. The program has no income criteria and from Tuesday you will be able to apply via vouchers.gov.gr, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said today in his Facebook post.
The planning of the “Thessaly Evros Pass 2024” action is provided for in the Joint Ministerial Decision (Government Gazette B’ 3172/04.06.2024) and the platform concerns intangible digital debit cards, which beneficiaries will be able to use until the last day of the selected phase, for accommodation, catering and local transport costs in the above affected areas.
Three destinations
More specifically, the program will be divided intowith three destinations:
- Thessaly A for the Municipalities of Pelion South, Zagora Mouresi and the Municipal Units of Agria, Portaria, Artemis and Makrynitsis of the Municipality of Volos
- Thessaly B for the Municipalities of Limni Plastira, Agia, Tempo, Pyli (except the Municipal Units of Gomfon and Pialia) and Meteora
- Evros for the Municipality of Soufli and the Feron Municipal Unit of the Municipality of Alexandroupolis
Just like in three calendar cycles:
- July August
- September October
- November December
Please note that the “Thessaly Evros Pass 2024” There is no income criteriaalthough the following categories of citizens have the right to submit an application:
- Those who are tax residents of Greece, based on the last personal income tax return filed for the 2022 tax year
- Those who do not have themselves or their beneficiaries as their main residence in the selected destinations, as shown in the last personal income tax declaration calculated for the 2022 tax year
- Those who are not beneficiaries of the Social Tourism program for the period 2023-2024
The “Thessaly Evros Pass” is implemented by the National Technology and Research Infrastructure Network (EDYTE SA – GRNET), an entity of the Ministry of Digital Governance.
