The Turkish president spoke by phone today Recep Tayyip Ertogan with the Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, where they reiterated their commitment for the normalization of bilateral relations.
According to Turkey’s hurriyetdailynews, the two leaders underlined their political determination to fully normalize relations between Turkey and Armenia “without conditions”.
In this context, leaders highlighted the importance of to continue the dialogue between the respective special envoys and confirmed the points of consensus reached so far.
Furthermore, the leaders expressed satisfaction with the ongoing dialogue between senior officials of Turkey and Armenia, while discussing recent developments in the region and international issues, the statement said.
Erdogan also expressed his condolences to Pashinyan for the devastation caused by the recent floods in northern Armenia.
