“Actual Housewives of Dubai” star Lesa Milan approves of co-star Caroline Stanbury’s current makeover.
“Do you understand what? I really want to say, personally, it looks amazing,” the Mina Roe founder, 34, told Page Six’s “Digital Reali-Tea” podcast on Sunday at DIRECTV’s Streaming with the Stars Oscars celebration at Spago Beverly. Hills.
“It looks really good,” Milan emphasized further.
The Bravolebrity — who memorably clashed with Stanbury, 47, during her first season of “RHODubai,” which aired in 2022 — said both she and her husband, Wealthy Hall, feel the process took years for “Women of London” alum.
“You know, my husband is known as your ’50-year-old influencer,’” Milan said, referencing a stunt pulled by the businessman during the reality show’s inaugural run. “And when he noticed her the opposite day, he said, ’25!’”
Stanbury revealed last fall that she underwent a facelift at the hands of plastic surgeon Dr. Steve S. Kim in Los Angeles, internationally from his residence in the Midwest.
Her painful recovery was documented on social media, along with several clips of her husband, Sergio Carrallo, crying throughout the ordeal. Through tears, the 29-year-old former footballer called the initial shock of her beauty enhancement “one of the hardest moments of my life.”
The couple, who married in December 2021, detailed the method throughout an episode of their podcast, “Uncut and Uncensored,” in November 2023.
“(The doctor) managed to cut three inches from my neck and then the full width of my ear in relation to my face. The shape of my face is completely unsuitable for a human being; the top half is wider than the bottom and my neck is very thick. I have stitches on the back and front of my ear and on my eyelids,” she said, still healing from the operation.
“There is no sign of my face on that face, which is petrifying,” confessed the socialite.
Carrallo, in turn, stated that for some time he did not “recognize” his partner.
“There are two wives – last week’s wife and this week’s wife. I don’t recognize her,” he said on his podcast.
“It was the worst experience of my life. I used to cry. I was trying to look for her and find my wife.”
But Milan said all the struggles – physical and emotional – paid off well for Stanbury.
“It was worth it,” she told “Digital Reali-Tea” at Sunday night’s party in Hollywood. “She looks wonderful, it’s true.”
While Milan is excited to see more of the new face of Stanbury, she will be thrilled for fans to see the upcoming sophomore season of “RHODubai.” A lot of “drama and betrayal” is at stake, teased the designer, but also a lot of fashion insults.
Asked if she ever internally judges her co-stars’ sartorial selections, the style-savvy businesswoman admitted, “Oh my God, regularly — and it’s often a miss.”
Milan said that of all the women in “Dubai”, Sara Al Madani always presents her least favorite looks.
“It’s not that she can’t wear the dress, it’s just that it’s very different from my style. It’s completely different from my style”, she defined. “That doesn’t mean it’s inappropriate. It’s just… not where I would put it.
Milan was one of the celebrities who toasted the Oscar nominees and winners at the DIRECTV event, hosted by Rob Lowe.
“Actual Housewives” stars Sutton Stracke, Erika Jayne, Vicki Gunvalson, Ashley Darby, Kelly Bensimon, Guerdy Abraira and Alexis Bellino attended, along with “Traitors” contestants Phaedra Parks, Peter Weber and Mercedes “MJ” Javid, among other notable names.
Season two of “The Actual Housewives of Dubai” premieres Sunday, June 2 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
