JT comments on Sukihana’s diss record
As The Shade Room previously reported, Sukihana released her single ‘Cocaine’ in May. The song sparked speculation among social media users, who believed that Suki was shooting at Jatavia based on the fallen bars.
However, when speaking to Keyshia Ka’oir, Jatavia revealed that she didn’t take Suki’s music seriously.
“I didn’t take it seriously. Nothing was true. None of this is true. And I don’t pay her enough to get through all of this. Yes, I can argue with a stranger on Twitter. But for me to actually go into the studio right in the middle of my first project, this is a very delicate moment for me.”
The ‘No Bars’ artist further revealed why she didn’t bother releasing a diss track in response to Suki.
“I would have to love that diss track to release it because I’m very critical of myself. I would have to get the cover art, I would have to do a lot. And I just didn’t think it was worth it. And I would have to drag other people into it. No one on her side did anything to me to make me disrespectful. And I don’t even hate her enough to go that far.”
Social media reacts to rapper’s explanation
Roomies were quick to share their opinion on JT’s statements in The Shade Room comments section. Some social media users credited the ‘Okay’ rapper for staying away from the drama, while others believed Sukihana was just seeking attention.
Instagram user @mzchazs wrote, “I’m glad JT didn’t react to that. That to me is impressive.”
Instagram user @shakariaak wrote: “I also don’t think she took you seriously, that’s why she made the song.”
Then Instagram user @prettygalnini wrote: “I still feel like JT was definitely talking about her. JT was very specific.”
As Instagram user @itschaachanel wrote, “You guys aren’t really fans of Suki, you just don’t like JT, admit it.”
Instagram user @_gracedevoiya wrote: “Suki was looking for attention for her music, period!”
Instagram user @tiashaee wrote, “People heard Suki diss because they laughed one day and no one has talked about it or played the song since!!!”
Finally, Instagram user @helovv_bre wrote: “They love to hate JT, I never could.”
Suki shoots JT
Fans of Sukihana and Jatavia know that they have been involved in heated arguments on social media. However, Suki went further when she entered the booth and decided to release her diss record, ‘Cocaine’.
Social media users believed that Suki was talking about Jatavia because of the names mentioned throughout her verses. The ‘Love and Hip Hop Miami’ star mentions JT’s boyfriend, Lil Uzi Vert, ice seasoning, It is YungMiami.
Shortly after ‘Cocaine’ was released, Suki let JT know she had another “diss in the safe” just in case she decides to stay in the shadows.
“All I know is that I have another 1 in the safe, let’s see what stupid answer she gives. Also baby, the plug said you got in touch but there’s one more for you,” Sukihana wrote on her Instagram story.
