The man behind the viral ‘Loopy’ trend on TikTok is reaping plenty of benefits after setting the internet on fire with the latest frenzy — and he’s already gotten a gig out of it… with the WNBA.
We spoke with Stephen Glickman – who is already famous for the program “Big Time Rush” – in “TMZ Podcast,” where he discussed his now-viral TikTok sound… in which he does a slow, dramatic rendition of Gnarls Barkley’s 2006 hit “Loopy.” Tons of stars have jumped on the trend – lip-syncing to their track and sharing something cringe-worthy from the past.

There’s nothing strange about Stephen’s success, though…’ the reason he says he’s ready to perform a WNBA halftime show soon. SG tells us that he and his band will be flying to Las Vegas… where he will perform to a sold-out crowd at the Aces vs. Aces game. Minnesota Lynx.

Stephen says he also booked something for HGTV because of his newfound fame – so yeah, it looks like things are moving forward… and it’s all because of this silly video he posted.
By the way, for those who don’t know… Stephen is also a comedian and also served as a reporting producer on the show ‘BTR’… making his new music business a full circle moment.
Although his stardom appears to be rising, Stephen admitted he hasn’t seen any money from the new monitor yet, but… but he already has a plan for how to spend the money when it becomes available. like he didn’t write the OG, but presumably, video of it has been monetized and TikTok… and there’s some money to be raised on that front.
Another cool thing we learned here… he’s talking to Inexperienced CeeLo – who is one half of Gnarls Barkley – and Stephen says he actually plans to go to the soul singer in Atlanta.
When he gets some additional money from this wave, Steve tells us what he plans to do with it… and it looks like he loves his mom – listen, he plans to go on some trips with her. ❤️
