Angel Reese was fined by the WNBA after the Chicago Sky’s game against the Indiana Fever… but it’s not for what most fans might think.
The league introduced a fine for the rookie for skipping postgame media obligations…paying his $1,000 for not being available to reporters. They also fined Sky $5,000.
Angel Reese was excited to see Caitlin Clark take a cheap photo 😬

Indeed, angel clearly applauded a cheap photo foul on your teammate Chennedy Carter to knock Clark throughout Saturday’s game, and some may have thought the league would reprimand her for it… but, so far, that’s not the case.
There has been tension between Angel and Caitlin in recent months, despite AR reassuring the public that her feud with Clark existed only within the confines of the courtroom. The loss to the Fever seemed to really bother Reese – who makes just $74,000 a year, not counting endorsements – and she dismissed the reporters.
Simply last month, Angel apparently posted a dig at Caitlin online, writing to his team won a formidable victory because of the cohesion of his team rather than “a player in our constitutional flight.”
Reese later deleted the tweet, but not before it went viral. Mixed with a thrifty celebration, this fight feels a little more private than Reese would like to admit.
By the way… excellent news for Fever’s outraged followers. The league upgraded the nasty hit on Clark from a typical foul to a flagrant 1 violation on Chennedy Carter. The league wasn’t great, nor did it discourage Carter.
Chicago marches to Indiana to play Fever on June 16… and, get the popcorn ready, we have a feeling sparks are going to fly.
