Misa Hylton speaks
In her statement, shared on Instagram, Misa spoke about the impact of the video on her son’s younger brothers and her own “trauma”. She shared how she relates to Cassie, but didn’t seem to accuse her ex of anything specific. Instead, she wished him “help.”
“I am heartbroken that Cassie must relive the horror of her abuse, and my heart goes out to her. I know exactly how she feels, and through my empathy, it triggered my own trauma. These young people were raised by women who want the best for them – we put God and education first and have always been united in our mutual effort to support their dreams. Two of the youngest do not have their mother here and it has been our duty to support them. Their dad needs help and I’m praying he actually does the personal work and gets it.”
Misa made her statement in the caption of the postwhich included two photos of all of Combs’ children – the sons in one photo and the daughters in the other.
In the 72 hours since the video’s release
This is the first time Misa has spoken out about abuse allegations against her ex. However, she doesn’t mess around when it comes to the Combs’ kids. She recently fled after federal agents detained her son and Christian Combs in one of his father’s raided homes.

The graphic video of Diddy dragging, kicking and throwing things at 19-year-old Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel hallway brought a wave of reactions.
REVOLT issued a statement clarifying his severed ties with Combs and denouncing domestic violence.
Old bad records rapper Shyne did the same, citing the name of his former boss and denouncing the abusive actions in the video. About that, other celebritieslike Cedric The Entertainer and Erica Campbell, and former artists like Aubrey O’Day also spoke out.
The abuse video corroborates one of Cassie’s allegations of assault against her ex-boyfriend. However, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office claims that will not pursue charges against the tycoon because of the state of limitations on crime.
