“I definitely watched his life change in front of him,” Zendaya said of Holland. “But he handled it really fantastically.”
Zendaya gave unusual insight into his headline-making relationship with Tom Holland.
The pair are known for keeping their relationship private despite their millions of followers ready – like excited puppies – for even the slightest glance at their love.
Talking to Vogue before the release of his new film Challengers, Zendaya gave a really candid look at how the pair handle their public relationship, praising Holland for the way he’s handled his life, changing dramatically after Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017.

“We were both very, very young, but my career was already halfway along and his changed overnight. One day you’re a kid and you’re at the bar with your friends, and the next day you’re Spider-Man,” she told Vogue.
Holland, like Zendaya, started in the leisure industry at a young age. His first position was at London’s West Finish, starring in Billy Elliot: The Musical when I was a child.
“I certainly watched his life change before him. But he handled it really fantastically,” Zendaya said.
Holland will return to the West End, the heart of London’s theater district and where he began his career, to star in a new production of Cheese and guava, It is Zendaya says she “couldn’t be more proud.”
“I’ll try to watch as many shows as I can,” she insisted.

However, wherever the duo goes together (and individually), they come across hundreds of fans taking photos and asking for selfies. In the same interview, Zendaya recalled a visit to Paris in the fall of 2022, where they visited the Louvre. For weeks after the pair’s visit to the venue, the event grew into a social media extravaganza.
“You kind of get used to the fact that, ‘Oh, I’m also one of those pieces of art that you’re going to photograph,’” Zendaya said. “I just have to be completely cool with it and just get on with my life.”
So, of course, fame has its little perks too. The Louvre remained open late to allow celebrities to enjoy the museum without being stared at.
“It was one of the coolest experiences ever,” she said. “How was it Night at the Museum.“
Zendaya and Holland met during their engagement in 2017 Spider-Man: Homecoming. The new couple avoided confirming their romance for a long time. It wasn’t until they were seen kissing in a car in July 2021 that their relationship was revealed.

Being famous is something that Zendaya says she needs to deal with on a daily basis. However, the previous 27 years have changed her perspective on the concept of fame and being “grateful” for it from when she was younger.
“I feel like growing up, I always felt that when someone asks for an image, I have to do it, all the time. You want to say yes, because you should be grateful to be here,” she said. “And while I still feel that way, I’ve also realized that I can say no, and I can gently say that I’m taking some time off, or just trying to be myself at this point, and it’s not really meant to be done on a regular basis.”
It’s something she’s learned as she gets older and the idea of having a family of her own becomes more common.
“Because I don’t necessarily want my kids to take care of it,” she told the publication, referencing her own fame, before adding that being in public might not be her entire life on the street. “And what will my future be like?” she reflected. “Will I be a public-facing person forever?”

O Challengers The star revealed that her dream scenario for her future self is to “make trouble and leave when I need to leave, and then have a safe and secure life with my family.”
However, there she finds herself “afraid” of what will happen to her career if she “doesn’t deliver something all the time”, that everything – fame, career – will disappear. So while she may have long limbs, be physically beautiful, exude a warm and cheerful personality, and naturally be incredibly proficient – she still has her everyday human anxieties.
“I think that’s always been a big anxiety of mine: this idea that people are going to be like, ‘Seriously, I know I was with you because you were 14, but I’ve been over you since then. you’re annoying.'”
Zendaya is definitely not boring as she graces the cover of Vogue’s May 2024 issue, available on newsstands nationwide on April 23.
