Jill Zarin will not be filming her upcoming trip after experiencing backlash for being “impolite” in her recent appearance on “Under Deck.”
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum shared a new photo of herself from the holiday on Instagram on Tuesday with a caption that seemingly addressed the negative comments.
“Thank you @themelindaspringer and @mrnoahspringer for the tremendous journey. We made a great gift together, but this summer’s journey WITHOUT cameras! I love each and every one of you 🤍 🤍 🤍,” Zarin captioned the Instagram Story.
Zarin, 60, also reposted two Instagram Stories from “Under Deck” cast member and stewardess Barbara “Barbie” Pascual, who defended Zarin and admitted that she “was right” about certain things she was doing on the superyacht.
“Guys, I watched the show and I don’t think Jill was as bad as she seemed, and I also want to say that there were so many other moments where she was super fun and sweet and good,” Pascual stated in an Instagram Story selfie video on Tuesday -fair.
The stewardess acknowledged that Zarin was “demanding,” but she was “not impolite” and was asking for things that are “truly essential for a yacht” and “quite logical.”
“She was right. She just wanted nugget ice in her Food Coke, that’s no big deal,” Pascual said.
Pascual emphasized in another Instagram Story that Zarin “really wasn’t that bad” and after watching Monday’s episode, she realized she “passed her name in the dust.”
“Again, he or she really shouldn’t be so unhealthy,” she shared.
Zarin’s rep did not respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Still, Pascual clarified that Zarin asking for a bell so she could ring the bell for crew members whenever she needed something was “a lot.”
Pascual’s other co-stars –– like Fraser Olender or Chef Anthony Iracane –– who also spoke not so kindly about Zarin in the episode, did not address the episode.
Zarin’s name began trending after Monday night’s episode aired, and several other Twitter users called her out for seeming like a “spoiled brat,” appearing “entitled” and “completely insufferable.”
During the episode, Zarin made several recommendations to the crew members – including a special type of ice cubes for their diet, Coca-Cola, a bell, toiletries in the bathroom, and eating out at all times.

“Jill is the first one in his head. She’s overpowering,” Pascual said in a confessional, later adding, “I think she’s annoying and I think she’s too much. You are a freeloader and extraordinarily demanding visitor. This is too much for me. I want another stew just for Jill.
Olender also called out Zarin for “creeping into my mind and consuming my soul.”
“I believe the first one, she’s fine, but her friend taking the boat, it’s like she’s the fucking captain,” Iracane added in his confessional. “How to board the ship.”
The episode ended with Captain Kerry encouraging the crew to pay attention to the first visitor and never be “shaken” by Zarin.
