Love is blind season seven has ended and to say it was eventful would be… an understatement.
It’s time to dust off your golden wine glasses! We’re investigating who got hitched, who got dumped, and who’s still looking for love.
WARNING: Spoilers ahead!
Find out who separated and who got married
There’s no doubt that Love is Blind this season has been full of surprises and shocks. As spectators reached the end of the wedding day, it was hard to tell who would make it to the altar.
Before the finale, it seemed like seven couples were ready to give love a chance without being seen, but after everyone’s escape to Mexico, romances started dropping like flies!
Alexandra Byrd and Tim Godbee, Monica Davis and Stephen Richardson, and Hannah Jiles and Nick Dorka abandoned ship, so to speak, and decided not to end up together in the end.
That left Marissa George and Ramses Prashad, Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans, and Tyler Francis and Ashley Adionser the only couples on the path to saying “I do.”
Two couples made it, one didn’t. And one that didn’t shock fans to the core.
Marissa and Ramses, fan favorites from the beginning, decided at the last minute not to get married. Although Marissa was happy to remain engaged, Ramses unexpectedly walked away from the relationship, leaving her devastated.
“I don’t think you should have had to go through that experience,” she told him. “How could I be so sure? And aren’t you? It sucks, I want you to choose me,” adding of the split: “This is the worst day of my life.”
Visiting a new city
One of the other interesting twists Love is blind season seven saw the show call the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area home. And in an election year – damn!
Creator Chris Coelen revealed the location of season seven during an in-depth interview with Vulture MONTHS before the season airs. It was the first time that Netflix allowed so much information to be released about an upcoming season!
With the D.C. area as the backdrop, it was no surprise to see how politics emerged in the groups. As always, talking about politics didn’t help secure romantic connections. In fact, as far as Marissa and Ramses are concerned, it was their political views that were partly to blame for their split.
Vulture Kathryn VanArendonk herself has witnessed some pod meetings get “derailed” by the issue, writing, “A handsome consultant type describes himself as ‘a patriot,’ and although he can’t see it, the woman in front of him shudders.”
Do you remember who it was?!
Fans knew what they were getting into – and what was coming next!
While creator Chris Coelen revealed Love is blind season seven was being filmed in Washington, D.C., it’s possible another season is also in the works.
An eagle-eyed Redditor shared a video of what appears to be another group of Love is blind bride Preparing to film your search for wedding dresses. The group of unidentified people were located outside of Beloved Bridal in Stillwater, Minnesota – just outside the St. Paul/Minneapolis area.
If you’re not familiar with the reality show, each season features an episode where all the brides get together to try on wedding dresses. At the same time, future bride and groom often buy suits with their loved ones.
Hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey usually show up at each location for the special occasion.
THE the original video was posted on TikTok where fans debated the location’s season status in the comments. Many believe Minnesota will be home to the eighth season of “Love Is Blind,” following Washington, DC.

Netflix sued by former ‘Love Is Blind’ cast
In addition to obscure cast members, Love is blind has been fighting a relating to legal action.
Renee Poche from season five is currently processing the showclaiming they intentionally inflicted “emotional distress,” according to USA Today. The lawsuit was filed after Netflix penalized Renee Poche $4 million for allegedly violating her contract by discussing her filming experience.
Renee Poche left the groups with her “supporter”, Carter Wall, their tumultuous relationship was completely severed in the fifth season. In the lawsuit, Renee alleged that Carter “berated” her, solicited drugs and even physically threatened a camera operator.
Renee also claimed that she was “totally terrified” of Carter and felt that Netflix put her in a “dangerous situation” by forcing them to be alone for long periods of time.
The process is ongoing.
