THE Israel unlikely to make a “significant move” against him Iranbut could instead launch a symbolic and limited attack, the Revolutionary Guard’s commander of cultural and social activities, Mohammad Ali Jafari, said today.
Israel is widely considered to be planning retaliation for a wave of missile attacks from Iran on October 1st.
“Israel is too small to attack Iranalthough he can perform a desperate, limited and small attack to say that he reacted, but will certainly not carry out an attack similar to ourssaid Jafari, former head of the Guard.
He added that Iran’s response would depend on the intensity of Israel’s retaliation, and that if Israel ended up launching a major attack, Iran would respond with a more intense attack against Israel.
Jafari was commander of the Revolutionary Guard from 2007 to 2019.
