A drone launched from Iraq to Israel was shot down by Israeli air defenses near the southern city of Eilat.
According to the Israeli military, the drone was intercepted before entering Israeli airspace. It is noteworthy that no sirens were heard during the incident.
The Israeli military says the drone was headed toward Israel “from the east,” a term used to refer to Iraq.
The Iran-backed “Islamic Resistance” in Iraq claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it had launched a drone at a target in Eilat.
