Cheryl Cole is heartbroken after the ex Liam Paynethe death of … calling the tragic update an “indescribably painful moment” for her and her son, Bear.
The British singer posted to Instagram on Friday, two days after the One Route alum fatally fell from a balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina… confessing that she is struggling with her grief after “this devastating event.”
She asked fans to be respectful after Liam… reminding fans that the late pop star was more than a celebrity.
Cheryl continued… “He was a son, a brother, an uncle, a dear friend and father to our 7-year-old son. A son who now has to face the truth of never seeing his father again.”
The Women Aloud alum dated Liam between 2016 and 2018… welcoming their son in March 2017.
Also in her note, Cheryl mentioned “disgusting studies and media exploitation”, which were “the ones that disturbed (her) spirit the most”… as her son will one day be able to see the content.
She added… “It breaks my heart even more that I cannot protect him from this in his future. I’m imploring you to consider the usefulness of some of these studies, as well as causing additional harm to everyone left behind when picking up the items.

Cheryl signed off on her statement with a request for others to point out to Liam “what little dignity he has left” so he could “relax with some peace.”
Liam was declared useless at the CasaSur Palermo Lodge in Buenos Aires on Wednesday after falling from the balcony of his third-floor room at the resort. A police official later claimed that the singer “jumped from his bedroom balcony”… although an investigation remains ongoing.
He was only 31 years old.
