Mahindra Scorpio Classic Boss Edition comes with a range of accessories on offer
Mahindra has launched the Scorpio Classic Boss Edition to coincide with the festive season of 2024. This special edition of the SUV adds dark chrome accents and several cosmetic updates to enhance its appeal.
External highlights
The Boss Edition’s exterior stands out with dark chrome trim around key elements, including the grille, headlights, taillights, fog lights and door handles. Additionally, it features a front bumper extender with silver skid plate, dark chrome surrounds on the hood and ORVMs with a carbon fiber finish. Tinted rear bumper protectors and door visors are also offered.
Interior and features
Inside, the Scorpio Classic Boss Edition features a black and beige dual-tone dashboard design, similar to the standard version. However, it features completely black seat upholstery, giving the cabin a more sophisticated touch. The overall theme remains a mix of black and beige.
On the technology front, the SUV is equipped with an infotainment system with a 9-inch touchscreen, automatic air conditioning and cruise control. While dual front airbags and rear parking sensors are standard across the Scorpio Classic range, the Boss Edition adds a rear parking camera for added convenience and safety.
Engine and performance
Under the hood, the Scorpio Classic Boss Edition is powered by the same 2.2-litre diesel engine, producing 132 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. However, unlike the Scorpio N, the Scorpio Classic remains a rear-wheel drive SUV with no option for a 4-wheel drive variant.
Pricing
While Mahindra is yet to reveal the exact price of the Boss Edition, the standard Scorpio Classic costs between Rs. 13.62 lakhs and Rs. 17.42 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Boss Edition is expected to be at the upper end of that range.
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic Boss Edition brings a touch of style and additional features to the long-standing Scorpio lineup, catering to buyers looking for a festive upgrade. With dark chrome accents, refreshed interiors and additional technology, the Boss Edition strikes a balance between affordability and premium appeal.
