Details about the tragic death of a Louisiana couple
PEOPLE claims authorities found the bodies of Glenkeithan Robertson and Dashayla Ardoin around 7pm on October 12 along White Oak Highway, likely as they were heading to Mamou High School for prom. Sheriff KP Gibson noted that their route suggested they were on their way to the event, where Dashayla was a student.
Sheriff Gibson reportedly told PEOPLE he believes Glenkeithan Robertson was the shooter, but could not discuss any possible motive behind the killings. He also shared that they still don’t know the details and are working to conduct a full investigation.
“Based on the investigation, this case is believed to be a homicide/suicide. There were no other passengers in the vehicle,” The Arcadia Parish Secretariat said in a official statement on Facebook.
A witness named Austin Bellard recalled seeing a truck come close to the highway before hearing gunshots, KLFY observed. Shortly afterwards, he ran, but found the discovery disturbing.
