AMC Networks has released a preview for Season 2 of “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon,” this time subtitled “The Book of Carol.” Normal Reedus reunites with “The Walking Dead” co-star Melissa McBride in the new season, which is set to premiere this summer on AMC and AMC+.
Reedus and McBride reprise their roles as Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier in the series. The official description for season 2 reveals that “both face old demons as she struggles to find her friend and he struggles with her decision to remain in France, putting pressure on the Nest.”
The rest of the cast is made up of Clémence Poésy, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, Laika Blanc Francard, Anne Charrier, Romain Levi and Eriq Ebouaney. Showrunner David Zabel executive produces along with Scott M. Gimple, Reedus, McBride, Greg Nicotero, Angela Kang, Brian Bockrath, Daniel Percival, Jason Richman and Steve Squillante.

Jenifer Lewis will guest star on the CBS series “So Assist Me Todd!” in an episode premiering Thursday, April 11 at 9 p.m. ET. The episode, “Finish On a High Notice,” will also be available to stream on Paramount+.
Lewis is introduced as a personality named Jacqueline. An official episode description reads: “Margaret and Todd work collectively to defend the operatic superstar, the ultimate diva and Lyle’s mother, Jacqueline.”
“So Assist Me Todd” stars Marcia Homosexual Harden as Margaret, a lawyer who hires her former private detective son Todd (Skylar Astin) to serve as an internal investigator at her agency. The collection debuted in 2022 and is already in its second season.

The Committee of Television Advertising Executives, a nonprofit group that promotes collaboration among senior communications professionals across the television industry, has announced its leadership group for the year.
Irina Bobker (Freeform), Brian Eley (Crunchyroll) and Alice Rao (Hallmark Media) are part of the steering committee. TPEC Chair Wendy Zocks, Todd Beck, Joe Schlosser, Eileen Quast and former Co-Chair Dustin Smith remain on the steering committee and oversee this year’s TPEC Awards in May.
The group guides the group by encouraging working relationships between leisure advertisers and the media. TPEC will continue to host digital panels and opportunities for networking and professional growth.

Fox TV Stations has hired John Brauer as senior vice president of media insights and measurement. In his new role, Brauer will manage media analytics, insights and audience measurement across all Fox TV stations with the goal of increasing commercial sales.

Ahead of the April 14 premiere of HBO’s limited series “The Sympathizer,” Max is partnering with 626 Evening Marketplace for a two-day pop-up experience in Santa Monica.
From 1pm to 10pm PT on Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14, “visitors can immerse themselves in the vibrant world of Vietnamese delicacies, works of art and efficiency.” The experience is free and open to the public, including Vietnamese DJs Demonslayer and Annalog, as well as a special performance by Vietnamese artist Dolly Ave, from 7pm to 10pm on April 13th.
Vietnamese food distributors will include All Dat Dumpling, All Dat Noodle, Café 949, Ridges Churro Bar and The Ugly Bao. The night market will also feature Steve Minty products, HBO x “The Sympathizer” branded pieces and photo moments.
“The Sympathizer” is described as “a spy thriller and cross-cultural satire concerning the struggles of a half-French, half-Vietnamese communist spy during the final days of the Vietnam War and his new life as a refugee. in Los Angeles, where he discovers that his spying days are not over yet.” The gift was adapted from the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Viet Thanh Nguyen.

Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded TV, will be the 2024 commencement speaker at her alma mater, Dillard College. She will send the talk ID on Saturday, May 11th.
