Details about mother’s dismembered body discovered at home
A man hired by Trudy Fields to work at the property notified police about her remains on Oct. 9, according to the Courier-Journal.
Authorities discovered the body behind the home, along with bloodstained items and drag marks in the grass when they arrived. The maintenance worker told police he last saw Trudy on Tuesday (October 8) and mentioned that her daughter Torilena May Fields was allegedly “casting spells on them and confronting them” during her visit. Documents indicate that mother and daughter were the only ones present in the house that day.
As reported by the Courier-Journal, authorities discovered that someone had removed several parts of Trudy Fields’ body, which they later found inside a mattress behind the house. While searching the kitchen, investigators also found a stainless steel pan containing human body parts that they believe someone cooked inside an oven. They claimed the pan was “hot to the touch” when they found it.
