Google It’s an amazing feature. The great vastness of human knowledge within our collective reach. Plus, it will tell you what time the movies are showing! What world.
Google’s handy interface includes helpful links, videos, and other information. Almost all Google search results also include a section called “People Also Ask.” According to Google itself, “these are questions that people often search for on Google”. So when you spend your day Googling movies like I do, you see a lot of “people also ask” things about movies.
And let me tell you: the questions people also ask about movies are dumb.
Okay, some of the questions people ask Google about movies are perfectly reasonable; things like “Yeah Monkey’s Planet a good movie?” (it is!) or “What’s the twist in the story of Psycho?” (Everyone except Norman’s mother was dead the whole time! She dreamed it all!) But there are a lot of questions that are asked that are so bizarre, silly and downright stupid that they needed to be cataloged in some way. I mean, you couldn’t make this stuff up. And if you did that, I wouldn’t believe you.
But the list of 30 questions below are all real. They were not invented or changed. I simply Googled the names of popular movies (i.e. “Avengers movie” or “Star Wars movie”) and looked at the “People Also Ask” results for each of them. Here’s what I found.
(And think: before Google existed, people used to ask their relatives these questions.)
