When Rondo wants to fix his public perception after years of legal run-ins, but won’t suffer from cabin fever to figure out the game plan… a judge is allowing him to go to New York to resume his rap career!!!
TMZ Hip Hop obtained court documents approving QR’s request to travel to New York this week to conduct business with his record label, Atlantic Records.
Probation officers have been keeping Quando under control, but apparently have had no problems with him visiting the Atlantic Records offices.
On Tuesday, he posted a PSA dedicated to the city of Savannah, Georgia, thanking everyone who helped him along the way and apologizing for not making the best choices.
In August, Quando pleaded guilty to a federal drug conspiracy charge involving more than a dozen pounds of marijuana and faces the possibility of serving 5 years in prison.
The 25-year-old rapper says he’s now committed to using his music to uplift the community – and it looks like there will soon be plenty of tracks to flood the market.
The label only dismissed several artists and executivesbut When still seems to be a priority… he’s gearing up to release his next album “Here For A Reason: In The Darkest Time” on November 15th and has released the single “Luh Woadie” in support.
