“You do not want consensus, but continued support from the powerful you serve,” was the response of PASOK-Movement for Change leader N. Androulakis during his rebuttal in the off-duty debate in Parliament on the fires.
Mr Androulakis, appealed to the Prime Minister to answer why the government did not accept the amendment he presented to prevent the financing of the “Spartans”, following the decision of the Federal Supreme Court.
Androulakis stated that PASOK agrees with specific proposals to deal with the consequences of the climate crisis. He further emphasized that Mr Mitsotakis cannot criticize PASOK for lack of responsibility when in 2010 PASOK backed down to avoid the country’s bankruptcy. “We are a credible opposition and we are formulating the alternative governance plan”, emphasized Nikos Androulakis.
He accused Kyriakos Mitsotakis of he belittles all parties by showing arrogance for which “you will pay for this”, as he characteristically noted, raising his voice.
“Your days of omnipotence are in the past. Get off the cane. As long as you continue, you accelerate your exit from Maximou”, Androulakis emphasized, ending his speech.
