On November 14th, the integrated information system for the digitalization of licensing and inspection procedures was launched. This is the digital platform of the Integrated Activity and Control Information System (OPS-ADE).
As Deputy Minister of Development Anna Mani Papadimitriou states in her post on social media, today she had a meeting with the executives of the General Secretariat of Industry in light of the announcements and changes signaled by the new integrated system.
Specifically, the deputy minister states in her post:
“With our executives from the General Secretariat of Industry of the Ministry of Development, in a working meeting, with a view to the official presentation of the OPS-ADE digital platform that will take place on November 14th.
This is the result of a systematic and important long-term effort by our services, which aims to simplify and speed up company licensing and control procedures.
The changes brought by the OPS-ADE platform are important:
- Single point of contact for submitting applications and processing documents online.
- Monitor applications in real time, reducing delays.
- Digitalization of licensing processes, reducing the administrative burden on companies.
- Better oversight and controls for compliance with standards and regulations.
With OPS-ADE we attempt another strong “blow” against bureaucracy and strengthen healthy entrepreneurship, giving impetus to the development of small and medium-sized companies.
