Israeli armed forces intercepted two unmanned aerial vehicles coming from the east over Israeli territorial waters in the Eilat region, according to a press release.
For its part, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq confirmed with two separate announcements that it had launched a new attack on Eilat, an important Israeli port, with drones.
The umbrella group, whose name is believed to be used by several Iraqi paramilitary groups close to Iran, added that it had struck “vital” targets in that port.
The Israeli army today appealed to residents of some districts of Tire, in southern Lebanon, to abandon their homes in anticipation of a military operation against Hezbollah.
“You must immediately withdraw from the area”, announced military spokesman Avichai Andrai through X in Arabic, in a message accompanied by a map of part of the city. “Anyone who is close to Hezbollah members, in their facilities and in their combat assets, puts their life in danger,” he added.
