Dust off your handbook for the recently deceased, because you’re going to need it for Airbnb’s newest listing… a “Beetlejuice”-inspired abode.
Check it out… the Deetz residence featured heavily in the first “Beetlejuice” movie and its sequel, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” is now available to visit through the Airbnb Icons program.
The residence, located in the small village of Hillsborough, New Jersey, will transport a group of guests into the world of “Beetlejuice”… including artwork by Catarina O’Haraof Deliathe miniature city of the Maitlands and even a portal to The Afterlife – where you might run into a ghoul or two.
Airbnb’s new offering comes amid “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’s” impressive showing at the box office… where the Tim Burton film grossed more than $400 million worldwide. The sequel project brought back Michael Keatonholder of the “ghost with more” and Winona Ryderis the strange and unusual Lydia Deetz.
Jenna Ortega was also drawn into this new chapter… playing Lydia’s surly daughter Astrid… who has her own entanglement with the undead.
‘Beetlejuice’ fans will be able to request a stay at the Deetz home from Wednesday until November 4th. Ten select groups will have access to a rare experience… 3-hour house tours… with each group featuring no more than 6 people.
Please remember that those booking the experience must be over the age of 18… however, guests over the age of 13 can participate.
