The popcorn bucket wars are heating up and getting downright loud… with “Gladiator II” now leading the buttery price tag.
This is the crux of reality… the flowery popcorn bucket from the ‘Gladiator’ sequel just fell over… it’s an insane design that features spooky augmented reality – and it’s leaving social media shoppers in awe.
The spectacular ‘G2’ snack container is a miniature Colosseum with a QR code… which when activated reveals gladiators fighting inside!
A source tells TMZ… the buckets will be available opening weekend at Cinemark locations around the world — and that includes theaters in Rome… how goal-oriented!
All good popcorn bucket wars started when the “Dune 2” bucket went viral… for all the wrong reasons… being compared to a physical half.
After that…wild bucket designs were thrown into the races…including one for “Deadpool and Wolverine”…which, naturally, led to the infamy of the ‘D2’ bucket.
Since then, there have been a number of buckets that have been very popular with followers… like a “Ghostbusters” attraction bucket… and because they are restricted gifts, the various buckets can cost a lot of money on the secondary market.
One thing is for sure, the ‘G2’ bucket definitely screams… “Aren’t you entertained?!”
