The “greens” did not allow Union to stay in the game for long, especially in the second quarter, when with individual scores of 26-10 they led at halftime by 49-29.
The picture remained the same in the third quarter, with the difference reaching more than 30 points. In the last period the pace dropped, AEK increased the pressure and managed to close the gap, without threatening.
