Overall, 49% of voters surveyed say they support Harris and 48% support Trump, according to the Post poll. Among registered voters, a Reuters/Ipsos poll last week showed Harris holding a steady 45 percent to 42 percent lead over Trump.
However, state-by-state results from the House of Electors will determine the winner of the November vote. The seven crucial states are likely to play a decisive role, with polls providing an indication of how the election race will play out.
