Tom Hardy “I would love to fight Spider-Man.”
The 47-year-old actor reprises his role as Eddie Brock and the Venom symbiote in Venom: The Last Dance and although his Spider-Man spinoff trilogy is now complete, the star admitted he would love to come face to face with Tom Holland’s web-slinging superhero.
Presenting the film at New York Comic Con, Tom said: “I would love to fight Spider-Man. I would love to fight him now. I’m happy to fight Spider-Man today, 100%. I would never say never.”
“We were created specifically to bring Venom to film format, and that’s what we did. The last dance It’s the final piece in this trilogy and we’re really excited about it.”
While Venom’s story “closes” with the new film, director Kelly Marcel has teased that other symbiote-based films could be on the way after the trilogy for The last dance teased the introduction of Knull, the evil alien creator of the symbiote.

Marcel said on stage: “This is just the introduction to Knull. He’s a huge, huge character, so you can never finish him off. This is just a small sample of Knull. We can meet him. What the future holds for him, who knows.”
“Eddie and Venom’s plot ends here. But as you know, there are many symbiote stories in the canon. There are lots of places to go, and maybe there are some Easter eggs here that can start that journey.”
Hardy had previously suggested that the film would be “much bigger” than its two predecessors.
He said Forbes: “This one — I’m really, really excited because we’ve grown so much.”
THE Peaky Blinders actor, who stars in the film alongside Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Stephen Graham and Rhys Ifans, added to the R-rated film’s success Dead Pool the films encouraged him and Marcel to embrace Venom’s more violent side.
He explained: “On the third one, we got a lot of creative support to do – to push it. It’s a much broader piece and there’s a lot more love – not that there wasn’t love in the later ones. We were able to put more of our ideas into this and I’m really excited to see how they turn out.”
Venom: The Last Dance opens in theaters this weekend.
