Big Meech was seen for the first time since his transfer from prison to a halfway house. On October 15, a spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed for The Shade Room that the co-founder of the Black Mafia Family has been transferred to community confinement.

The representative added that the Miami Residential Reentry Management Office oversees the transfer. However, the statement did not include any additional details about the halfway house. Meech remains in Florida, however.
In the newly emerged photo, he is next to a famous barber with his arm around his shoulders. They appear to be in a kitchen area, likely at the halfway house where Big Meech ended up. He is dressed in a black t-shirt and black shorts with a black watch on his wrist.
Police first arrested Big Meech in 2005, amid allegations that he and his brother had made more than $270 million in cocaine sales. In 2008, the court sentenced him to 30 years in prison on trafficking, money laundering and conspiracy charges. Earlier this year, he won a legal victory when the judge reduced his sentence by three years. It is unclear what conditions are like in their current confinement.
Akbar V sends a message to BMF co-founder
Days before Big Meech’s photo surfaced, Akbar V went viral with a video message she shared for him. In the clip, she talked about him being at home and the supposed disgusting habits of men today.
“Big Meech, I’m so glad you’re home,” Akbar said. “There’s a lot going on that you don’t know about, so I’m going to tell you. The homies are in the club, they danced 25 girls out of 2,500. Plus, there’s already been 17 idiots in the section, just three bottles, and I know you don’t even approve of that. I know you will never do that.
Akbar kept coming in, saying that there are men around here embarrassing Meech by pretending his money is long. You see, Akbar is remembering a time when Big Meech was known for spending big stacks – the same stacks that landed him behind bars. He didn’t respond to her message, but scroll through the comments below to see if the roommates are drinking Akbar’s tea on men today.
