Note that it’s unclear whether Young Thug wrote the tweet or whether he had access to social media during His RICO trial underway. Additionally, Future did not offer any additional context for the retweet. However, the message from Thugger account was absolutely clear about the connection between collaborators.
“@Drake @1future @MetroBoomin all of us bruddas. The music is not the same without our collaboration,” the post said.

17 hours after Young Thug’s account shared the message on October 18, Future reposted it on his page. However, he has not shared it on any other social platforms.

It’s unclear what led to Future and Metro’s falling out with Drake, but they brought it into the public eye with the song ‘Like That’ on their collaborative album. Fans were sure the ‘Life Is Good’ producer and rapper was taking shots at Drake when they let Kendrick Lamar throw rocks at Drizzy and J. Cole on the track.
In a recently released song, Cole explained why he ultimately stayed out of the Drake and Kendrick feud. At first, he clapped back at ‘Like That’ with ‘7-Minute Drill’, but two days after its release, he apologized and pulled the record from streaming platforms.

Metro, the chef behind the viral ‘BBL Drizzy beat,’ did not retweet or react on other personal platforms. In March, Metro responded to a tweet speculating that Drake and Future’s fight was over a woman. “Stop making things up,” he wrote.

Where is Kendrick Lamar in all of this?
The only person Thugger’s post didn’t include, and who Future didn’t mention either, was Kendrick Lamar. K. Dot is the rapper who stuck his “men’s size seven” in Drizzy’s neck.
After a series of back and forth dissent Earlier this year, Lamar won over most audiences with ‘Not Like Us’, a record that went wild all summer and continues to gain airplay. Not to mention, Kendrick is scheduled to appear at the Super Bowl as the Halftime Show headliner.

Kendrick has kept details of his upcoming performance under wraps, even as fans and celebrities spoke out about the fact that Lil Wayne was passed over for the show. Wayne shared his disappointmenttoo, but still, there’s no word from Dot on whether he plans to hire his nemesis’ mentor for a special performance – in the same way that Dr. Dre tapped him in 2022. You should also consider that Wayne doubled in his support for Drake amid his and Kenny’s feud.
However, Young Thug leaving Kendrick out of the role is probably a welcome exclusion. Kendrick has already stated that it is too late for reconciliation. In a song released in SeptemberKendrick rapped:
“I think it’s time to see the party die. This shit got too wicked to say sorry. It’s different, getting him beaten and disqualified. We even kill murderers because they like to take innocent lives. Burn an entire village, we start again, the time has truly come. Why reason with these idiots if they can’t see the future first?
Young Thug’s message also arrived one day before 21 Savage’s ‘2008-2013’ era birthday party on October 19. shared a promotional post about the party. Drake slid into the comments section, writing, “So specific that we can get reference photos?”
