Manchester United fell behind again this year, but reacted and defeated Brentford 2-1, while Aston Villa “cleaned” Fulham in London and caught City and Arsenal in 2nd place, but with more struggle, like Liverpool .
In the six games played so far on Saturday, as part of the 8th round of the Premier League, the places in England were very weak, as the visitors emerged victorious in four of them.
For United it was the first victory in a month and the 7-0 victory over Barnsley (League Cup), but also the first after three consecutive unsuccessful results in the League (one defeat, two draws).
At Craven Cottage, hosts Fulham took the lead against Aston Villa with a goal from Mexican goalscorer Raul Jimenez, but the Villagers equalized immediately through Morgan Rodgers.
