Thirty humanitarian aid trucks from the international community passed through its northern part today Gaza Stripaccording to a statement from the Israeli army.
It is noted that the last delivery was last weekwhile the Israel faces US pressure to increase aid.
The Israeli military body that oversees humanitarian aid, the Coordinating Committee for Government Activities in the Territory (COGAT), notes that the trucks were transporting food, water, medical supplies and shelter equipment.
“Aid arrived from the port of Ashdod to the Erez West crossing and the Gaza Strip, as part of Israel’s commitment to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. It is important to emphasize that all aid was transferred after thorough security checks”, states COGAT.
