New photos of the hotel where Liam Payne died of an apparent suicide, reveal why an employee told police he was worried his room had a balcony… one that wouldn’t be difficult to fall off.
These photos of one of the deluxe suites at the Hotel CasaSur Palermo in Buenos Aires… show the same type of room Liam was staying in when fell to his death from a third-floor balcony.
The balcony is enclosed with glass and a railing that appears to be no more than five feet tall, which would make it dangerously easy for someone of Liam’s height – reportedly around 5’10” – to step over the edge…accidentally or intentionally .
The police said as much, with a Buenos Aires police officer saying that Liam “had jumped from the balcony.”
As we reported… Liam landed on the pool deck below his room on Wednesday afternoon and a preliminary autopsy issued by Argentine authorities says the impact resulted in “internal and external bleeding.”
Photos from inside the identical suite also show the TV in the middle of the room. In photos supposedly of Liam’s real room, the place was trashed and the TV was broken… with broken items scattered across the floor.
Before Liam’s death, a hotel employee made a report emergency call to authorities… saying a guest was “oppressed” by alcohol and drugs, and staff were concerned because they hadn’t been able to get into his hotel room for several days.
Fans since then held a vigil outside the hotel.
