The stars of “Napoleon Dynamite” stopped by a dodgy restaurant in Missouri over the weekend, where they thrilled customers … as rumors of a sequel to the iconic film continue.
Co-owner of John’s Waffle & Pancake House Mrs. Ramadani told TMZ … the small Kennett, Missouri restaurant closed on Sunday … when an unassuming Jon Heder, Efren Ramírez and Jon Gries happened to be face up on the counter.
The trio from the hugely popular 2004 comedy film was finally noticed by a customer amid the commotion… and the fan floodgates opened. But everything went well… DR told us that the 3 were super calm and responded to all requests for photos and autographs… before leaving a “very big” tip.
It appears the three were passing through after a Q&A screening of their film in Paragould, Arkansas… and stopped at a diner that’s no stranger to celebrities… as Dona told us the Kennett native Sheryl Corvo falls from time to time.
The visit raised some eyebrows from fans after Efren – who played Pedro in the film – recently suggested Collider that negotiations about a sequel are a reality… “Everyone wants a sequel – and I can legally say that, that the door is not closed yet.”
Of course, it seems like many fans still want to vote for Pedro.
