Followers applauded the idea that Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jennifer Affleck was likely splitting from her husband Zac after a new video; but the celebration didn’t last long after conflicting messages were shared in follow-up posts.
Do they have it or not? That’s the question in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives followers are asking star Jennifer Affleck.
On Saturday, October 12, fellow reality star Mikayla Matthews shared a TikTok seemingly hinting at the truth that Jennifer and husband Zac Affleck’s marriage was over.
In the 15-second clip captioned, “Simply catching up 👀,” Mikayla, Jennifer and Mayci Neeley lip-synced to a sound of The Kardashians.
“I don’t even know where we left off,” Kim Kardashian is heard saying, as Jennifer mouths the words, before Mayci and Mikayla deliver the producer’s line saying, “You were still in a relationship.”
“I used to be? Rattling, things change very quickly,” Jennifer is seen muttering, before adding that it’s “not okay.”
Many followers filled the video with constructive messages, assuming the video meant she and Zac knew he was going to break up after their tumultuous relationship aired for the world to see during the first season.
One TikTok user wrote: “The ring is missing and we are loving this period for Jen!!!”

However, things got complicated when Mayci shared another video of the trio set to Amy Winehouse’s ‘Me & Mr Jones’, where Mayci held up Jennifer’s hand to show off her wedding ring.
The women were lip-synching the lyrics: “What kind of shit is this?”
While Mayci and Mikayla roll their eyes and look disappointed, Jennifer is seen beaming with a big smile.
But if you thought it couldn’t get any more conflicted, Jennifer posted her own TikTok, showing that she was sharing her thoughts on the web trying to meddle in her relationship.
The mother of two captioned the video: “Nobody knows the full story.”
Mayci and Mikayla were lip syncing, “Admit you’re in danger,” before Jennifer looked confused and muttered, “Who are you talking to now?”
The trio of films left fans of the show even more confused than when they ended the first season.
“I saw Mikayla and Mayci’s video and I’m so much more confused,” one social media commenter wrote.
“WHAT IS HAPPENING,” added another.
“At the end of the day you understand what you are going through (sic). Some relationships seem good, but they really aren’t. Others look bad but really aren’t,” one fan wrote to Jennifer, who responded with a “Thank you.”

Jen and Zac’s marriage problems really came to a head in episode 6 of the Hulu show, when the women — including Zac and Taylor Frankie Paul’s boyfriend, Dakota — went on a visit to Las Vegas.
Throughout the episode, co-star Jessi Ngatikaura shocked women with tickets to see Chippendales. Zac was extremely upset with his wife, and his nasty response to Jen even thinking about going to the show not only raised eyebrows among the MomTok group, but among fans as well.
Zac attacked Jen, sending her hard-hitting textual content messagesduring which he exploded at his wife and made a collection of derogatory and insulting comments. As Jen stated in the episode, Zac questioned her character and threatened divorce. She added that he made her feel like she was cheating on him, said he was “fulfilled” and “wouldn’t marry someone without values and morals” while threatening divorce.
Speaking to TooFab ahead of the show’s premiere, Jen said she and her husband are “cool” now because of the work they did after filming.
“I feel like since the show ended we’ve been doing non-stop treatments and at this point I really feel like we’ve healed from everything and we’ve been totally sensitive and honest,” she shared. “It definitely wanted to happen. It has definitely helped us in some ways. And I believe at this point it’s just an advertising solution.”
All eight episodes of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives are actually streaming on Hulu.
TooFab has reached out to Jennifer about the status of her relationship with Zac, but has yet to say anything.
