The Athens Alzheimer Society Carers School institution returns with a series of lifelong seminars with the aim of providing psychological, educational and social support to caregivers of people with dementia to acquire resources to face the heavy burden of care.
Specifically, on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the new cycle of training seminars for caregivers of people with dementia of the Athens Alzheimer’s Society begins.
The “School of Caregivers” is based in the center of Athens, in the Antonis Tritsis Amphitheater of the Municipality of Athens (50 Akadimias).
Four days
In total, four training days will be held (10/30, 11/6, 11/20 and 11/27). At the first meeting, the speaker will be the president of the Athens Alzheimer’s Society and president of the National Dementia Observatory, Dr. Friday Sakka.
