Victory for Nikos Androulakis with 60.62% against 38.09% for Haris Doukas, results from all electoral divisions in Germany.
In Great Britain, Just like last Sunday, only one polling station was set up in a London hotel. The polls opened at 10am local time and, with a half-hour extension, closed at 4:30pm. Compared to the first phase of the electoral process, only 103 PASOK friends and members voted today, while 266 people had the right to vote. LSE professor and former PASOK minister, Ilias Mosialos, was the last to vote and, speaking to APE-MBE, jokingly said: “I may have voted last, but I will not be the last to close the door on PASOK, because the door is now open.”
From today’s electoral process they received: Nikos Androulakis 71, Haris Doukas 28. Two voids and two blank spaces were also recorded.
The abstention rate in today’s process can be explained by the fact that, on the previous Sunday, 70.67% of those who voted chose Pavlos Geroulanos or Anna Diamantopoulou. More specifically, in the October 6 elections, they received in order of votes: Geroulanos Pavlos 96, Diamantopoulou ‘Anna 92, Androulakis Nikos 46, Doukas Haris 24, Giannakopoulou Nadia 3, Katrinis Michalis 3, while 2 invalid votes were also counted.
