Toni Kroos hung up his boots some time ago, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that the now veteran Real Madrid and Germany midfielder has said his last word on football.
According to Spanish website Relevo, Kroos, 34, has signed up with UEFA to obtain his coaching diploma, although the press reports that he still doesn’t know if he really wants to become a coach.
The German, however, justified his choice by saying that he wants “be ready, just in case”.
“One of the reasons I retired was because I got a little tired of traveling and hotel life. As a coach, I would return to this life. You travel a lot, so that’s not my main idea, even though you should never say never”he himself told Bild in August.
