US Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris wants to form a cross-party group of advisers who will present her with proposals to improve her policy if she is elected.
Harris also reiterated that she would name a Republican to her administration.
“I don’t want back benders. I want people to come (…) and give ideas”she said, speaking at an event in Arizona for Republican supporters of her campaign. “To this end, I will create an inter-party council (…) to do the work that is important,” he added.
Harris has been touring Nevada and Arizona since Wednesday, two states considered bipartisan. She leads her Republican rival, Donald Trump, by three points, 46 percent to 43 percent, according to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll.
