The Israeli army appeals to residents of southern Lebanon not to return to their homes, stressing that its forces continue to face Hezbollah fighters in this area.
At the same time, it ordered residents of 22 villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate areas north of the Awali River, according to today’s latest announcement.
Israeli forces continue to attack Hezbollah positions in or near their villages, Israeli military spokesman Avichai Andrai said in a message in Arabic posted on social media X.
“For your own protection, do not return to your homes until further notice. Do not head south, anyone heading south is risking their lives”, added the message from the Israeli army spokesman.
