Late “American Pickers” star Frank Fritz died of a stroke, TMZ has learned… that’s according to authorities.
Based on Frank’s death certificates, obtained by TMZ, the quick explanation for his death is “delayed sequelae of cerebral infarction”… medical jargon for stroke.
The doctor says Frank’s fatal stroke was the result of cerebrovascular disease… a condition that affects the bloodstream and blood vessels of the brain.
Frank also suffered from aortic stenosis — a chronic condition that makes it difficult for blood to flow from the heart to the rest of the body — and COPD… according to records, with both cases playing a role in his death.
As we reported… Frank died on September 30 in a Midwestern hospice, surrounded by friends, along with his longtime “American Pickers” co-star Mike Wolfe.
Frank’s representative previously informed us that he died as a result of a stroke he suffered several years ago… and this is confirmed in the death certificates.
The documents also say the official time of death was 8:50 p.m., the style of death was natural and her body has since been cremated.
Frank was 60 years old.
