Marilyn Manson may still face charges for alleged sexual misconduct… with the Los Angeles district attorney saying new evidence recently emerged in the case.
Los Angeles County DA George Gascón released a statement Thursday … saying that prosecutors in the DA’s Sex Crimes Division are reviewing new leads and additional evidence that have come to their attention from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
While he didn’t provide any details, Gascón adds that senior officials are meeting with the accusers in this case before making a dismissal decision. He noted that he will not meet with them in person… saying it would be inappropriate for him as the prosecutor to do so during the investigation.
Prosecutor Gascón says his office will make a filing decision soon and will announce that decision publicly when the time comes.
Remember… multiple women — including the star of “Westworld” Evan Rachel Madeira and actress of “Game of Thrones” Esme Bianco – came forward in 2021, claiming that Manson had abused them.
Wood claims Manson began grooming her when she was a teenager, adding that she feared reprisal from the controversial rock star for years before she spoke out.
However, in 2021, police sources told us of the Manson case would probably not result in charges …with our sources saying there were “some credibility issues with the victim.”
We reached out to Manson about this new development… so far, no response.
