The majority shareholder of PAE AEK, Marios Iliopoulos, was today (8/10) at the EPO headquarters, where he met with the president of the Federation, Makis Gagatsis.

The two men found themselves alone in the office of the EPO president. The EPO clarified that the meeting was scheduled for Sunday evening, at the request of Marios Iliopoulos.
In terms of arbitration, the head of the EPO referred the owner of AEK to the Central Arbitration Commission, highlighting on the one hand its total independence and on the other hand that its selection process through UEFA cannot be questioned under any circumstances.
The meeting lasted about two hours. After his departure, Marios Iliopoulos made the following statement:
“We seek “fair competition”. From the first moment I took command of the team, I made it clear that we would not take blows below the belt.
AEK is the club with the greatest cultural and historical heritage. The team’s profile, like mine, does not allow us to tolerate such actions in the pursuit of the championship.
We will protect our ideals with all our strength. “Because of shadow jobs you are.” What I mean to say…”.
