Tekashi6ix9ine is taking his talents to Kartel Music… signing a new recording contract with the label that will pay him millions of dollars.
The rapper has just signed a lucrative contract that includes recording a new album with regional Mexican artists and touring the United States, Mexico and Central and South America.
BACKGROUND
According to the contract, obtained by TMZ, Tekashi will receive $1 million for the album, which will feature 10 songs… and he will earn $250,000 for each show on an upcoming tour. All of this means Tekashi could pocket more than $6 million.
After putting pen to paper, 69 told a photographer in Miami that he couldn’t wait to get started with Kartel Music… and told the paparazzi that the plan is to take Mexico by storm.
By signing the agreement, Tekashi agrees not to get involved in legal matters or start any conflicts on digital platforms… and not to be arrested, which has been a problem for him in the past.
While Tekashi is getting a nice payday here… a good chunk of it will go towards his debt to the IRS.
