Some of Hollywood’s biggest names celebrated the 50th anniversary of the American Music Awards on Sunday night — and they did it all in style.
Mariah Carey led the way on the red carpet at LA Center Studios, showing off a strapless cream-colored slip dress with black stripes on both sides. She looked incredible as she posed for paparazzi photos with a big smile.
Jennifer Hudson and Kat Hudson also made an impact… Jennifer wore a long black latex dress with sparkling jewelry, while Kate wore a sparkly halter dress with her blonde hair slicked back.
Other celebrities who attended the event included Nelly, Chaka Khan, Sheila E., Kane Brown, Low bid, AJ McLean, Cedric the Artist, Gladys Cavaleiro, Billie Joe Armstrong, Nile Rodgers and Jordyn Woods.
As the stars entered the auditorium, they were treated to a stunning performance from Mariah singing her smash hit, “We Belong Together.”
Another memorable moment came when Jennifer Hudson paid tribute to the late great Whitney Houston singing her famous song, “I Will Always Love You,” from the 1992 film, “The Bodyguard,” starring Houston and Kevin Costner.
And the crowd just loved it. What a night!
