LeBron and Bronny James made history on Sunday night – the two officially became the first father-son duo to share an NBA court together… and afterwards, the King called the game “SURREAL!!”
It all happened in Palm Desert, California… where the Lakers were facing the Suns in a preseason game.

LeBron entered the game first – he really started to compete in LA – and early in the second quarter, Bronny joined him on the court.
The two only played together for a few minutes… and failed to connect as father and son – but LeBron was clearly excited, writing on his Page X after the game: “WOW THAT WAS SURREAL!!”
Meeting with reporters moments after the final buzzer sounded on Phoenix’s 118-114 victory … he added that the moment was made even more special by the fact that Sunday was Bronny’s 20th birthday.
“For a dad, I mean, it means everything,” LeBron said. “For someone who didn’t have that growing up, being able to have that influence over your kids and having that influence on your child — being able to have moments with your child and ultimately being able to work with your child, I think is one of the best things a father could hope for or wish for.”
“So,” he added, “it’s really cool.”
LeBron ended up scoring 19 points, five rebounds and four assists in 16 minutes. Bronny, for his part, didn’t make a basket in his 13 minutes, but he did grab two rebounds.
They’ll have the opportunity to play again in a few more meaningless games for about another month – the team has four more exhibition games scheduled between now and the start of the real season on October 22nd.
