Sunday’s playoff game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres got pretty heated — and not just between the players — as Los Angeles fans also got in on the action, causing the game to be temporarily halted.
It all happened in the bottom of the seventh inning… while LA trailed San Diego 4-1 in game two of the NLDS. Just before the start of the frame, Padres left fielder Jurickson Profar began complaining to fans after they threw a baseball at him after he threw it into the stands.

Profar was understandably hot… leading to his manager Mike Shildt and his companions going out to try and calm him down.
It wasn’t just Profar who drew the ire of Dodger fans… as their star utility player Fernando Tatís Jr. had items thrown his way while in right field, leading him to mock fans…wiping fake tears from his face.

After a monstrous game (he went 3 out of 4 with two home runs), Tatís he said he never felt in danger, adding that the club was built for a tough environment like Dodger Stadium.

Manny Machado also got into action during the game… fighting shouting with Jack Flaherty after the Dodgers’ starting pitcher struck out the third baseman in the sixth inning.

The Padres only extended their lead and won the game 10-2, tying the series even with a game a piece.
Tempers will have a chance to calm down before Game Three… which takes place in San Diego on Tuesday.
