In a documentary released on Thursday by Al Jazeera, the Qatari news agency reveals all the details of the soldiers in its units, who fight in Gaza while videos posted on these people’s social media accounts are shown.
Al Jazeera’s hour-long film accuses IDF soldiers of “war crimes” and claims the footage could be used at the International Court of Justice.
Several of the speakers claim that the IDF systematically attacks journalists and human rights defenders. Bill Van Esveld of Human Rights Watch stated that after providing Israeli military coordinates to ensure they did not target the workers, an attack was finally carried out on the exact location that was supposed to be protected.
The IDF did not receive the word.
The documentary contains no statements from the Israeli army, reports the Jerusalem Post, and no criticism of Hamas.
It is recalled that the Israeli cabinet voted unanimously to end Al Jazeera’s operations in the country in May. Now the ban has been extended from July until November 30th.
