Taking a look at Tuesday’s season premiere from 1000 pounds. Sistersshared by PEOPLETammy is sitting at home with her sister Amy Slaton when she decides to try to summon her dead family members, including her husband, who died last year at 40 years old.
“When Caleb passed away, I had all kinds of questions,” Tammy, 38, said in a confessional. “I had all kinds of questions I wanted to say. I didn’t hate him, but I was very upset with him for dying with me and leaving me a widow. And now I’m like, I can’t stay mad at him. It’s not his fault.
“Now, I want to thank you for the time we spent together and how great it was,” adds the reality star.

Amy, 36, is somewhat skeptical, however, about whether or not they will be able to reach Caleb.
“Tammy has a cell phone app that looks like a radio. And when a ghost communicates, it takes all the static and turns it into phrases that you can understand,” explains Amy. “Some of it is white noise, like static, some of it is real names, so you never know what you’re going to get.”
In the clip, Tammy and Amy begin to hear static coming from their cell phone, asking who they are talking to and if Caleb is there.
While it’s difficult to decipher exactly what the pair are hearing, it isn’t long before Tammy starts freaking out as she believes she heard someone say her name.
“I have to be careful because I don’t want any evil spirits in my house,” she notes.

Not long after Caleb’s death, Tammy I spoke with PEOPLEcalling her late husband her “best friend.”
“I loved him so much,” she told the outlet.
“As soon as I met Caleb, he became my guardian angel and now he is really looking out for me,” she added. “Our families appreciate everyone’s sympathy and ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”
Tammy took it to Instagram just weeks after Caleb’s death, to pay tribute to her, writing that “we will forever miss her.”

“Rip Candy Angel, you will be forever missed and cherished, thank you Caleb for showing me true love and happiness,” she captioned several photos of the pair.
